Thomas Edward Ketchum had four siblings two brothers and two sisters His father died when he was only five years old and his mother was blind several years before she died in 1873.
  2. Thomas Edward Ketchum (known as Black Jack; October 31, 1863 – April 26, 1901) was an American cowboy who later became an outlaw. He was executed in 1901 for attempted train robbery.
Edward One of the last outlaws of the Old West, he was captured and convicted for 'felonious assault upon a railway train', and sentenced to hang. The local sheriff botched the job and poor Tom was beheaded. He expired nevertheless.
